TAMRA MERCIECA is one of Australia’s leading newsreader / journalists, having worked at several radio stations around the country over the past ten years. She currently reads and writes the news for Gold 104.3 in Melbourne and Cruise 1323 in Adelaide. In 2002 she won the Australian Commercial Radio Award for Best News Presenter in a Provincial market.
Tamra also works as a Life Coach and has her own column in Nature and Health magazine called ‘ask Tamra’. She has written for Women’s Health and Fitness magazine, Good Health and Medicine magazine and Body and Soul in the Sunday Telegraph / Sunday Herald Sun, among other publications.

It was Tamra's personal battle with depression that led her on a journey of self-discovery and saw her complete both a certificate in Wellness and a Certificate IV in Life and Business coaching. She then went on to write her first book The Upside of Down. Following the publication of The Upside of Down, Tamra was invited to be an advocate for Lifeline Australia.
Tamra has appeared in television series such as Neighbours, The Secret Life of Us and Last Man Standing. In her spare time, you can regularly see her track-side at the V8 Supercars, behind her kit having a bash on her drums or eating scones and drinking tea in the Dandenongs.
